How to: Create a program group similar to groups in Windows 3.1x.
Solution:
Right-click on the desktop to display the desktop pop-up menu. Select 'New' and select 'Shortcut'.
1) Right-click on the desktop to display the desktop pop-up menu.
2) Select 'New' and select 'Shortcut'. (The 'Create Shortcut' dialog box appears.)
3) Type the following in the 'Command Line' box:
NOTE: Capitalize the filename exactly as shown below.
<drive>\:\WINDOWS\Startm~1\programs
(where <drive> represents the drive containing the Windows directory).
4) Click 'Next'.
5) Type a name for the shortcut in the 'Select a name for the shortcut' box.
6) Click 'Finish'. (A shortcut to the 'Programs' menu appears on the desktop. Double-click this folder to access the programs in a Program Manager-like fashion.)
